This case study details a project a GSHP system for a private residence in Arrowtown, New Zealand. Prior to the system being installed thermal conductivity testing of the ground was carried out.
Our first webinar presenting the launch of the Australasian Renewable Earth Energy Association (AREEA) and showcasing of a large ground source heat pump system installation.
The organization is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of renewable earth energy systems, particularly shallow geothermal systems, to facilitate the decarbonization of the heating and cooling energy sector in Australasia. Steve Crowley briefly introduces AREEA. Industry expert Stephen Jarvis presents the Camp Glenorchy Eco Retreat project as a case study.
Camp Glenorchy is New Zealand's first net zero energy tourist accommodation. The buildings are heating and cooled via GSHP units that are connected to a shared ground loop array.
The slides presented in the seminar on Camp Glenorchy can be viewed above.
